BAC Advisory is a Swiss natural resources advisory and investment firm, founded in Zug in 2002 by Bernard Loriol. With over 40 years of financial market experience spanning institutional trading, fund management, and resource project development, Bernard built BAC on a simple conviction: that commodities and natural resources are the best asset class for long-term value creation.
BAC began investing in commodities long before it became fashionable. In 2005, the firm launched the first Platinum Mutual Fund with CHF 4 million, growing it to CHF 400 million by 2007 — at one point ranked Europe's No. 1 performing fund among a universe of 20,000. This track record was built on deep sector knowledge, direct relationships with producers and explorers, and disciplined active management.
Today, BAC Advisory operates across three pillars: private equity advisory for natural resource projects, actively managed portfolios in thematic resource sectors, and physical commodity trading advisory. The firm focuses on critical sectors including precious metals, platinum group metals, battery metals (lithium, cobalt, nickel), uranium and nuclear fuel cycle, defence minerals and rare earths, hydrogen, and smart grid infrastructure.
